• Property information — the property address, your estimated home value, and your remaining mortgage balance.
• Program preferences — how long you would like to stay in the home and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Text messaging opt-in — whether you chose to receive text messages from us, and when you made that choice.

How we use your information

• To review your eligibility and prepare your options.
• To contact you about your application by phone, email, or — only if you opted in — text message.
• To operate your homeowner account and show you the status of your application.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messaging program

If you check the SMS opt-in box on our eligibility form, you agree to receive text messages from Equity Funding about your application, appointment reminders, and program updates at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will confirm your opt-out and send no further messages. Reply HELP for help at any time, or contact us at applications@equityfunding.io.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

When we share information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — for example, our website hosting, database, email, and text message delivery providers (including platform providers and phone companies), and the licensed professionals involved in a transaction you pursue with us (such as a closing attorney or a certified appraiser).
