About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of equityfunding.io and the services Equity Funding, the brand name of EQUITYFUNDING IO LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”), provides through it, including our text message program. By using this site, submitting an eligibility application, or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

Our services

Equity Funding provides residential real estate services to North Carolina homeowners: we purchase homes at an as-is sale price and, if you choose, lease the home back to you for a prepaid term so you can stay with no monthly payments. Submitting an eligibility application is free and creates no obligation for you or for us. Every offer is subject to our review, a third-party certified appraisal, and a written agreement — no terms exist unless they are in that written agreement, and every sale includes a 7-day right of rescission.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice. You are always free — and encouraged — to have your own attorney review any document before you sign.

Text message program terms

When you check the SMS opt-in box on our eligibility form, you consent to receive text messages from Equity Funding about your application, appointment reminders, and program updates at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale.

• Message frequency varies based on your application activity.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one final message confirming your opt-out, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email applications@equityfunding.io.
• You must be the account holder or have the account holder’s permission for the phone number you provide, and you agree to notify us if you change numbers.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages may not be deliverable in all areas at all times.

Acceptable use of the site

You agree to provide accurate information in your application and not to use this site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site or the text message program after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
